Reflect, reset, and soothe your way into the week.
Welcome to Sunday Soothies, where we say ‘heyyy’ to Sunday Scaries and then get back to what matters most in our life. Cozy up with your favorite drink for some tips, tricks, and community to soothe your way into your upcoming week!

Don’t measure what thoughts to focus on based on which ones are the loudest. The loudest or scariest thought often gets the most attention. Sound familiar to you? Try this today: Change your gauge on what’s most worth listening to. The thoughts that matter the most, the person or task in front of you that matters the most, intentionally put your attention there. Like a sports announcer during March Madness, you can mute the TV and still keep up with the most important updates and outcomes of the game.
Ask your anxiety 💭 is this solvable or unsolvable? This is usually my first question for my anxious clients. If it’s solvable, let’s go ahead and solve for the problem. If it’s one of those many times in life that the worry is unsolvable, we practice our acceptance skills, we get some space from those thoughts, and we turn towards other things in life that matter most. Continuing down the anxiety path for unsolvable worries is, simply put, a waste of your precious time on this Earth!
Take some time to reminisce and reflect. This week, my 93-year-old Grandpa passed away. He was surrounded by family and passed peacefully. We have much to celebrate about his life! Making time to retrace some of my memories with him was a wonderful reminder to live life in the moment, and not in such a hurry that life passes you by. So slow down to write down memories, look at old photos, and tell stories with your loved ones. That is time well spent 💛

Stop and smell the bluebonnets today🪻
