Reflect, reset, and soothe your way into the week.

Welcome to Sunday Soothies, where we say ā€˜heyyy’ to Sunday Scaries and then get back to what matters most in our life. Cozy up with your favorite drink for some tips, tricks, and community to soothe your way into your upcoming week!

  • Find a healthy outlet for your bigger emotions. Feeling worked up, upset, angry, or anything along those lines? Try a lion’s breath practice šŸ¦, roll the windows down on an open road and sing loud to some rock music (my personal fave), or get a sweaty workout in. What’s one way you can move some big energy today?

  • Add some gratitude to your daily routine. Gratitude is so, so good for ya. Need some help getting started? Check out an all-things-gratitude newsletter that I’m happy I stumbled upon this week, Unbound Gratitude. It’s super cute and practical, and great for parents too!

  • Give yourself some love this Valentine’s Day season 🫶 We often give our love to others with no problem. When it comes to ourselves…did anyone just get ā€˜the ick’? Something I’m experimenting with this week is listing 2 gratitudes I have for me! You can also try this: write a love letter to you, to your body for some healing, sing a love song to yourself, or say 3 kind things if you catch your inner critic running the show this week. A strong inner self-compassion coach will keep the Sunday Soothies flowing all day every day!

Committed Action of the Week:

I am making space for the big emotions. They can be here and say what they need to say. I won’t push them away.

Why the Gut Health Trend is Mostly Empty Hype podcast | Christy Harrison is joined by Timothy Caulfeild to debunk some wellness myths, and a big one here recently is GuT hEaLtH. I want your tummy to be happy! Sometimes what we are told and sold by Diet Culture actually takes us further away from a happy tummy. This listen was so informative!

You know your girl is watching the new Love is Blind season on Netflix | This season we have some serial killer vibes going on (I don’t want to spoil anything, but we will be dissecting this next week!), some sweet souls linking up as they should, and a FUNNY cast. I like this group so far! Sidenote: is anyone else kind of loving the slow-release episodes making a comeback? Finally my mind has something to long for and look forward to! Gone were the days of waiting every Thursday to see what the heck would happen next on Grey’s Anatomy. Hype TV is BACK! I’m here for it, how about you?
